In our neighborhood, we have 4 pits, 3 different owners that are all useless POS that can't keep their stupid dogs in their yard. Two pits broke into our fenced yard and attacked our dog. My husband ran the pits out of the yard and ran into their owner who was looking for them. The idiot tried to fight my husband!? Of course he's a breeder... as if there's not enough stupid pits in our city's shelter(literally most popular breed there). I bought bear spray to carry when I walk our dogs.
